Villa de Leyva, Colombia 🇨🇴 

Another amazing sunny day in Bogotá, to the point where I am getting sunburnt at breakfast.  I have a very chilled morning, with the girls sunning themselves on the terrace whilst I hold onto the one shady spot.  Today is my last day in Bogotá and I will really miss the hive of social activity that I have enjoyed here.  Hopefully this is just the start of a great Colombia trip.

I catch a cab with another girl, Melanie to the North portal to catch a bus to Villa de Leyva.  With the temperature high and the Friday afternoon rush we sit melting in the taxi for an hour and a half.  I miss my intended bus but am delighted to find there is another direct one leaving in 30minutes.  

It is only 4hours up the road and I land safely in the picturesque town earl evening.  The huge cobblestones play havoc with my wheelie bag but we are soon there and checked into my quiet hostel.  I pop out for dinner but then tuck myself in for a early night.
